Youth Director Opening

Discovery Church is currently looking to hire a Youth Director. We expect this role to take 5-10 hours per week, and we are able to offer a stipend of $500/month. Discovery Church Youth Director Job Description

You Must Be:

• Fully committed to Jesus

• Able to pass a background check with flying colors

• Organized, efficient, and an ideal team-player

• Excited about helping youth become fully-committed to Jesus

You Will:

• Prepare and lead a youth gathering each Sunday from 10-11:15am

• Recruit, train, and oversee youth team members

• Meet with Pastor Stephen once per month

• Work cooperatively with other church leadership team members, especially our Kids Director

• Work about 5-10 hours per week

Optional, but Encouraged:

• Plan, coordinate, and lead youth trips and events

• Help design youth areas in our new church building

• Attend Leadership Team Meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 1pm.

• Attend various conferences, trainings, or team activities that help improve the church, its members, or its ministry.

• As our church grows, also oversee a midweek youth gathering
